The Fabulous Jordan had a blog request for me (Yay Jordan!) and I am finally getting around to tackling it!
Per her request, I will present some of my favorite nail trends!
Fashion does not end with clothing, I firmly believe in being styled from H2T or as Tyra would say, from head to toe. In order to do so, your nails and toes have to be polished and pretty and I'm going to show you how!
The Accent Nail!
This first look is an easy one that everyone could try and pull off, simply paint one nail a different color from the rest! I really love the all black with the pop of glitter, fabulous!
Polka Dot Polish!
I always want polka dot nails, who am I kidding, I want polka dot everything.... but here is a simple way to make a patterned nail! Simply use a silver or gold sharpie for an adorable nail look! so cute!
Ombre!
Ombre hair was all the range this Spring, so this winter try on Ombre Nails! Do this with either five colors (one for each nail) or three colors (one color for the pinky, a second color for the pointer and middle and a third color for the pointer and thumb).
Little Black Line!
Take a classic twist on your regular french mani by adding a black line! Use tape or a rubber band to successfully create a straight line!
Extra, Exrta!
With a little rubbing alcohol and sunday's paper you can get a newsworthy nail look! Paint your nails white, clear or tan and let it dry. Then dip a piece of the newspaper in the rubbing alcohol and press the paper onto your nail! Emily and I tried this out one night and it turned out really well!
Use the rubber band again to create amazing stripes or patterns on your nails!
So those are my favorite nail looks! What ones are you planning on trying?
If there is anything else you would like me to blog about please let me know! Read all about post demanding!

Wow! Amazing nails. I would love to try some, but I fear I may not be quite talented enough for certain looks. If I could do absolutely anything, I would probably try the third from the bottom - they are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCute nails!!!! And such a lovely blog!!!! I, like the comment above, like all the nails, but my preference is for the spotty ones!!!! So cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThe spotty ones are easy and fun! Totally try them!
ReplyDeleteJust discovered the pics of your newsprint nails, love them. Tried it out and it works well until I try to put a clear top coat on then they smudge, how did you prevent this. In the uk , we can only buy surgical spirits not rubbing alcohol
DeleteI use out the door top coat, it makes my nails instantly hard to prevent smudging. Also try dipping your nails in ice cold water for 3 minuets after you paint them to make them dry and harden, that's a trick I learned from pinterest ! cheers <3
