Posh Rebel – NYFW

IMG_0204Peace out #NYFW! Yesterday was the final day of Fashion Week in New York and I ended it with one of the most exciting shows – Nanette Lepore’s Posh Rebel Collection. I really enjoying shows like hers because they are always equal parts inspiring and relatable, clothes that get me excited for the upcoming seasons and pieces that I can actually wear (and afford, well kinda) plus it’s always great to see a show that doesn’t take place at Lincoln Center!Clifford-New-York-Fashion-Week-Fall-2015-February-2015-Nanette-Lepore_122736rs_1024x759-150218160940-1024-4NYFW-Bestlooks-day6_copyAccording to Nanette, “A posh rebel is a woman who’s pushing her way out there in the world and making things happen” … well, she sounds awesome and the collection totaled oozed posted-rebel-ness (yeah I’m making up words now), the girls who would rock these looks are brave, bold and not afraid to take what they want in life – I know a few crazy amazing women like that who basically need this collection in their lives.10958064_704084626367589_492219921_nImage via instagram11005146_1060760467274496_1977399068_nvia instagramIMG_0201   Nanette Lepore’s cool “Posh Rebel” collection didn’t disappoint (well does it ever?) with seventies vibes reinvented in newer, chicer ways with a free-spiriited vibe and unexpected color (like this awesome pumpkin-esque orange look that I am kind of crazy over). She kept it carefree with pops of print and flowy frocks paired with tailored jackets, plus there were a few mini’s to die for and some unexpected embellishments for that extra something special! 10986213_1540650912890902_711535738_nImage via instagram11005069_1559018491040014_1063871875_nVia instagram

I’ll let you in on a secret, but as long as you run and tell everyone you know, kay? Nanette Lepore also has an awesome and more affordable line available at JCP – say whattt?. The collection emphasizes color and movement, two signature styles of Nanette Lepore – plus its crazy affordable. This darling flowy pink cami that I am wore to the show, is actually L’amore by Nanette Leepore for JCP. it was a little early to bust out this spring statement piece, whoops, but i can’t wait to wear it again and again when things warm up for Spring with jeans, to work with a blazer or on the weekends with these awesome black cargo pants!IMG_0205

To the show, I wore a Nanette Leopre L’amor for JCP Flowy Pink Cami & a Varsity Jacket, get the same day cool vibe with this awesome leather/denim jacket situation
Shop the L’amore collection here

Big fat monster thanks to JCP, Nanette Lepore & Chictopia for sending me to the show, all opinions are my own.<3
