Scarves have to be one of the most elegant, timeless and easiest accessories a girl can, no must have in her closet. In addition to adding a bright pop of color to almost any look, they are so versatile that you can wear them in countless ways! Don’t believe me? I’ll prove it to you, when I style one Lexicon of Style Scarf too ways with the help of the designer herself… Lex! Awesome right?
One of the best parts of blogging is all the crazy and amazing talented people you meet along the way. I am so lucky to have a great group of NYC bloggers I hang out with and am always looking to add more to the mix (so if you’re in nyc and wanna be besties, call me 😉 !! ). One of those lovely ladies is Lex of Lexicon of Style who in addition to blogging, designs the most amazing scarves including this awesome Skull Kandy scarf I’m rocking today. For my first look I gave my classic top-knot a twist by rolling my scarf into a really thin line before tying around my bun a few times and letting it hang in the back. I also played off the purple pops in the scarf with a magenta lip, clutch and matching socks.
I switched things up for this second look by pairing the Skull Kandy scarf it with my new favorite red coat, a teal beanie and all black everything. I folded my scarf in half on the diagonal and tied it around like a bandana, then I layered an armed and readi necklace tassel over the top for a little extra bling.
