Let’s talk about my Color Me Mani!

As you guys may know I do a signature manicure style that I call a #colormemani! I get this done usually once every 3 or so weeks, sometimes four at either Valley Nails or Paintbox in New York City. It’s a pretty simple gel design, usually costing no more than $15 more than a normal gel manicure. It consists of 2 layers of the bottom shade that cover the nail completely and 2 layers of the top color.

Each month I pick out a manicure that matches the color of the month, so this month I went with a neon coral and bright purple pairing! It’s a style I’ve been wearing off and on since I was 16 or so, and consistently for the past 5 years – sometimes doing my own when I count afford to get my nails done so often.

Picking out the colors is always the most enjoyable part, and sometimes I brainstorm about pairings and even ask the manicurist to test out 3 or 4 different options before I land on one! Today I wanted to give you a close up look of this months mani and showcase some the multi color ring I wear with it almost every day. Take a look!
