Orange & purple & teal OH MY!

I’m loving this month of lavender, it’s pushed me out of my color comfort zone and into something new! I’m most comfortable in bright & warm colors – reds, oranges, yellows; but this month I’ve been mixing it up with cooler & pastel tones. My favorite looks have been the ones that mix the two: wearing lilac with lemon or lavender with orange.

Growing up in Arizona I avoided orange & people – because it’s the Suns color, same with yellow and purple as lakers colors (Paris’s team). Now even still when I wear purple Paris calls me a laker girl, which is reaaallly annoying but not enough to make me miss these color combos.

Here are a few fun ways to wear Lilac & Orange, Lilac & teal or all three depending on your level of extra-ness.

1 – try a little white dress with lilac pumps & a orange lip
2 – wear jeans with an orange top & lilac earrings or shoes (or both)
3 – get a bag like mine with orange & lilac & teal, wear it with a lot of color (the color me way) or just with neutrals for a fun pop
4 – rock a orange dress & lilac accessories
5 – or if you’re extra like me, create your own color block with lilac, orange & teal in an unexpected way!
