Four Eyes

fullsizerender-42Calling all four eyes, this one’s for you!fullsizerender-43

It’s no secret I don’t have perfect vision, but even if I did I would wear glasses – because they’re just so cute! Today I’m partnering with LensCrafters, a leader in quality eye care, to talk about their new exclusive optical retailer partnership at Macy’s.fullsizerender-48

I’ve always been a LensCrafters girl and loved shopping for glasses every few years there. My collection includes brands like Ray-Ban, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors and Burberry, to name a few. Now that LensCrafters has made its way into stores Macy’s, you can shop these brands at your local store, making it more convenient and fun. Since style & glasses go hand and hand, I love that LensCrafters has taken this step to pairing the two together.ribbet-collagefullsizerender-45

I recently took a trip to their long island location and stocked up on two new pairs of glasses – A retro inspired Dolce & Gabbana cat eye and a geek-chic Prada lense. Together, they two tell completely different stories and can be styled in unique ways. My Dolce & Gabbana’s have a flirtier feel, and pair well with skirts, dresses and anything flowy. They’re also an ambery meets tortoise hue so they look great with earth tones but also pop next to bold colors. Meanwhile, my other pair is more menswear inspired with a different kind of retro edge – think forties and seventies opposed to the fifties and sixties vibe you see with my first pair. These pair great with oversized coats, jeans & sneakers, more slimming silhouettes with straight lines and crazy fun patterns. I love that switching up my glasses can really transform my entire look!fullsizerender-56fullsizerender-54fullsizerender-55

More about the partnerships – Each department will be staffed by a LensCrafters affiliated optometrist and offer the industry’s advanced eye care equipment. Macy’s customers will have access to the broadest assortment of premium frames, along with a unique in-store digital experience that includes lens simulators and virtual try-on technology – this is where you can take up to four photos of your favorite styles and compare them side by side. This expansion started with the first LensCrafters at Macy’s location in Columbus, Ohio on June 10th. The goal is to open more than 200 new locations nationwide by the end of 2017.fullsizerender-51
