Pattern Play

There’s been a whole lot of pattern play going on here lately, and I am refusing to apologize for it #sorrynotsorryI used to pride myself on being the queen of pattern mixing: stripes with spots, leopard with dots or plaid with prints was my #ootd norm! But lately, I have switched up my usual mix-matching for a little bit of double play, sometimes mixing the same print can be even more exciting and interesting than a simple pattern jumble.Today, I double up on my leopard prints (rwar) to add a little something unexpected to an otherwise classic look. The different spots in my boots and clutch provide enough contrast between the two pieces, all while keeping the look complimentary – awesome! While blue and red pieces rule the rest of the look and a printed plaid scarf pulls it all together.What are you thoughts on my pattern play? are you on team print mixing or pattern pairing?
