Make Up,

Lash Lust

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of KISS Cosmetics. All opinions are 100% mine.

Let’s talk lashes!

So it’s no secret I love me some lashes! I basically grew up wearing falsies (I was a competitive dancer) and now get eyelash extensions every month! I want my lashes to be big, dramatic and oversized so they draw attention to my eyes. So today I’m going to share my love for lashes, how I finally got my extensions the way I wanted them, & tips and tricks for applying the perfect falsie.

Let’s talk lash extensions – So I’ve been getting eye lash extensions every month for about 3 years now. I tell people not to get them if they don’t want to pay for them for the rest of their life because they are addicting. I had been having trouble finding someone who would make them as big and long as I wanted, so I walked in once with my KISS false eyelashes in hand, and said make them look like this! Although my lashes aren’t as bold as the KISS falsies I carried, this was the closest I had ever gotten to achieving the larger than life lash look I wanted. I wear my extensions   every day, and use KISS falsies over them when I’m shooting a stop motion video, doing a TV appearance or just want to amp up my look. Lashes really can make all the difference in taking your look over the top.

Your lash tool kit! – The best way to get larger than life lashes is to obviously start with larger than life lashes, like the new KISS Lash Couture Triple Push-Up Collection. I’m wearing the Brassiere style which combines drama, length, eye-lifting curl, and dimensional lift for a real looking lash with extra oomph.

Why they work Using the right lash will really change everything. The new KISS Triple Push-Up lash will transform your look and create a multi-dimensional effect. They’re for a bolder, fuller, more dramatic look, so prepare to have your eyes instantly transformed into look at me lashes. The 3 Lash Designs locked into only 1 Lash Strip is made of patent-pending Triple Design Technology, so you won’t find this lash effect in other brands or lashes. Across the 3 different lash patterns you’ll find: multi thickness, various curls, dimensional lift, a thin knot free lash band and various curls – all to get to get the most impactful and seamless eye look effect.

Other KISSLash Couture Triple Push-Up Collection styles include:  Bustier , Camisole , Corset, Negligee , Peignoir , Garters (Ulta Exclusive), Teddy (Ulta Exclusive) I mean how cute are these names?

Here are some tips and tricks I’ve learned about applying lashes:

Black Glue is Better it took me a while to get on board with black glue but now I’m never going back! I’ll use black eyeliner and then apply the black glue to the lash directly before placing it on my eye. The liner & black glue combo helps hide any imperfections, and the KISS Triple Push-Up Collection has a thinner knot-free lash band that blends with my natural lash line.

Trim Trim Your lashes will look so much better if you measure and trim them to your eye size. Mine are on the small size so I usually take a little snip on the outside and inside of each lash. I also spend some time shaping my lashes, making them a little more round before applying them.

Let it dry You have to make sure you’re using the glue the right way so your lash will stay! After you apply glue to your lash, let it get a little tacky before you place it I usually count to 15 and then start to place. Once I get it where I want it I’ll blast my lash with a blow dryer and count to 15 again. This will help lock your lash in place and help it stay all day. I actually learned this trick from watching RuPaul’s drag race.

Blend it, baby after the lashes are on, make them look like they belong by blend them together with your natural (or extensions) lashes. Applying a little bit of mascara at the base in a wiggle like motion will help create the illusion that they’re real and also amplify your eyeliner.

My makeup favs I don’t always wear a lot of make up, honestly I’m usually a tinted moisturizer and lipstick kind of gal, but when I do get glammed up I use KISS lashes.

You can shop my new favorites from the  KISS Lash Couture Triple Push-Up Collection  at Ulta, online, or in most drug stores!  & thanks to KISS Products for sponsoring this post.
